Jared Kallio, CSCS

Founder
This story goes way back to being an overly active kid that loved to play just about anything ranging from sports to video games. If there was a competitive aspect, I especially liked it! I loved being outside fishing, camping, riding my bike.
I played about every sport known to man except hockey (which I looked into). I still like to compete but most recently in Olympic Weightlifting where I plan to compete at a national level. I went to Nebraska Wesleyan with the idea that I would go into business administration but after taking the basic Health and Wellness gen. ed. class I was sure that this field was for me. I completed my B.S. in Exercise Science in 2004 and immediately became NSCA – CSCS certified in which I held for about 15 years before pursuing other certifications. Early in my career I wanted to be a strength coach…particularly at a large (Texas sized) high school where I could teach and coach. That changed after working at my brother’s chiropractic clinic in Colorado for almost two years. There I was able to experience the satisfaction of seeing a patient or client get out of pain and improve their general health. I moved back to Nebraska in 2007 when I got a job as an Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer at York General. After about 8 years and a lot of encouragement from my clients I took the leap and opened RPE Strength & Fitness. Since May of 2015 we’ve been able to grow with our clients’ help and support. I have huge aspirations for our gym and our community and look forward to our growth in the future!

Jasen Hinkel, NASM-CPT

COACH
Jasen graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2015 from University of Nebraska-Kearney. While at UNK he interned with the Strength and Conditioning Staff with over 17 different sports teams and nearly 500 athletes.
Prior to UNK Jasen participated in athletics in high school and then progressed into powerlifting. His success in powerlifting led to several records at the state and even the world level! His most memorable moment was being best lifter at the 2007 USAPL North American Meet in Guatemala City, Guatemala! Jasen wanted to become a coach because he really loves working with new people and is excited to help you achieve your goals! He especially loves coaching clients that are learning weight training and has recently gained interest in Olympic Weightlifting. Jasen has been assisting coaching classes for several years as a Certified Personal Trainer through the NASM. He is also excited to get the opportunity to work with some sports teams in the future.

Kari Robinson

FITNESS COACH
Kari Robinson is a dynamic fitness coach at RPE Strength & Fitness, celebrated for her energetic and motivating training sessions. With a background in sports science and years of experience in the fitness industry, Kari specializes in creating effective workout routines that cater to all fitness levels. Her enthusiasm and dedication inspire clients to push their limits and achieve their personal best.

James Cormack

POWERLIFTING COACH
James Cormack is a skilled powerlifting coach at RPE Strength & Fitness, esteemed for his expertise in strength training and competitive lifting. With a solid foundation in exercise physiology and extensive experience in powerlifting, James designs comprehensive training programs that enhance strength, technique, and performance.

With 16 squat racks, ample open training space, and a coach present for every session, members never have to wonder what to do or if they’re doing it right. Our programming is structured, intentional, and scalable, allowing people of all fitness levels to train confidently in the same space. Choose one of our three “tracks” of training. Each of which prioritize movement quality and steady progress-so training stays effective and enjoyable long term.
